CHROMATIC CAPRICCIO

In the Chromatic Capriccio series, color is emphasized as an expressive element freed from real references or “local color”. The pieces have been made by superimposing layers made with quick brushstrokes loaded with pigment, in which the plastic material takes on an almost tactile dimension. Although they are abstract works, refer to plant spaces, such as gardens and forests, due to the play of colors and the way they have been composed on the canvas. These paintings are weaves with a vibrating and changing surface, an ascending sense and an expansive movement.
